My transaction is stuck or pending - what now?

Pending means the blockchain hasn’t finished confirming yet.

My transaction is still pending

Crypto transactions need confirmations from the blockchain before they are complete.

How long that takes can vary depending on the asset and current network activity, so a transaction may show as pending for a little while.

You can check the number of confirmations directly from the transaction page in RockWallet.

If the transaction has been pending for less than an hour, give it a little more time.

How do I check a transaction on the blockchain?

Every crypto transaction has a transaction ID, also called a transaction hash or TXID.

You can use that ID to check the transaction directly on the blockchain.

The easiest way is through RockWallet:

  1. Open the transaction.
  2. Find the transaction ID/hash.
  3. Select the blockchain link to view the transaction.

You can also copy the transaction ID and search for it using a blockchain explorer.

A few options are:

  • BSV: WhatsOnChain
  • Bitcoin and multiple other assets: Blockchair
  • Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens: Etherscan

The blockchain explorer will show whether the transaction is pending, confirmed, or completed.

If the transaction shows as confirmed but you still don’t see it in RockWallet after an hour, reach out to Support@RockWallet.com with the transaction ID/hash, and we'll take a look.
