How to Migrate to RockWallet 2.0
Moving Your Funds from RockWallet 1.0 to RockWallet 2.0
RockWallet 2.0 is our next-generation wallet with improved security and features. To begin using it, you'll need to create a new account and move your funds from RockWallet 1.0.
Before you start (30-second checklist)
✅ You have both apps installed: RockWallet 1.0 + RockWallet 2.0
✅ You know which token you’re moving (ETH, BTC, XRP, etc.)
✅ If you’re moving ERC-20 tokens, you have enough ETH for gas
Step 1: Create Your RockWallet 2.0 Account
Download the RockWallet 2.0 app from the App Store or Google Play.
Follow the prompts to create your new RockWallet account.
Step 2: Move Your Funds from RockWallet 1.0
To move your assets, you will send your tokens from your RockWallet 1.0 wallet to your RockWallet 2.0 wallet.
1. Check what tokens you hold in RockWallet 1.0
Open your RockWallet 1.0 wallet and review the tokens currently in your wallet.
2. Get your receive address in RockWallet 2.0
In RockWallet 2.0:
-
Tap Trade
-
Tap Receive
-
Select the token you want to receive
-
Copy the wallet address shown
3. Send the funds from RockWallet 1.0
In RockWallet 1.0:
-
Tap Send
-
Select the token you want to move
-
Paste the wallet address from RockWallet 2.0
-
Enter the amount you want to send
-
Confirm the transaction
* We recommend a test send first:
✅ Test: $1–$5
✅ Then send the rest once confirmed
4. Confirm the funds arrived
Open RockWallet 2.0 and verify the funds appear in your wallet
⭐ Always select the same token you’re sending from RockWallet 1.0.
Important things to Note:
1. Ethereum gas fees (for ERC-20 tokens)
If you are sending these tokens, you need ETH in RW 1.0 to cover gas:
-
LRC
-
PEPE
-
SHIB
-
WLD
-
ZRX
If you need to buy ETH for gas:
-
Minimum purchase is $30
-
There is no minimum to send
2. XRP minimum balance
You must keep at least 1 XRP in the wallet. That’s an XRP-network requirement.
3. Crypto dust
“Dust” is tiny leftover amounts (often under $0.01) that may not be worth moving due to network fees.
Step 3: Start Using RockWallet 2.0
Once your funds are in RockWallet 2.0, you can begin transacting.
Complete identity verification
To unlock full features, you will need to complete Level 2 verification (KYC).
Add a payment method
RockWallet currently supports U.S. debit cards for purchases.
Buy, sell, or swap crypto
After completing verification and adding a payment method, you can begin buying, selling, or swapping supported assets.
Availability depends on your region.
Note: These services are not currently available in:
-
New York
-
Louisiana
-
