How do I verify my identity?

Verify your identity and unlock level 2

All RockWallet users start at level 1. At level 1, you can send, receive, and store crypto (with some exceptions depending on your location).

To buy, swap, and sell (again with some exceptions depending on your location), you need to unlock level 2.

To verify your identity and unlock level 2:

1. Open the RockWallet app

2. On the homepage, you’ll see a widget prompting you to unlock level 2

3. Tap Unlock level 2

4. You’ll be asked to complete the verification process using RockWallet’s identity verification partner, Sumsub.

5. Complete the verification steps in Sumsub

In most cases, once you complete the verification process, you’ll become level 2 immediately.

Sometimes we need additional documentation to complete your verification. If we need anything else, you’ll see a message in the app letting you know.
