# Why did my RockWallet verification fail?
## Learn the most common reasons ID verification doesn’t go through and how to fix it.
If your identity verification failed, don’t worry, it’s usually a quick fix.
Your verification may not have been approved because:
- The ID type you submitted isn’t supported in your country.
- The photo on your ID wasn’t clear, cropped, or fully visible.
- The selfie didn’t match the photo on your ID.
To check the reason your verification failed:
1. Open the RockWallet app.
2. Go to the Profile screen at the bottom.
3. Tap Contact Us for details and next steps.
> Tip: For faster approval, use a valid government-issued ID, ensure all details are visible, and take your selfie in good lighting.
