What is a PIN, and why do I need one in RockWallet?
Your PIN adds an extra layer of security to protect your digital assets.
A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a six-digit code you create to help keep your RockWallet secure.
Your PIN is used to unlock your wallet, authorize transactions, and confirm sensitive actions - making it an important part of protecting your digital assets.
When setting your PIN:
-
Choose a number you haven’t used elsewhere.
-
Make sure it’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
-
Never share your PIN with anyone.
-
Avoid saving it digitally (such as in notes or screenshots).
If you forget your PIN, you can always restore your wallet using your 12-word recovery phrase, so keep that stored safely too.
