What happened to Wyre?

On June 16th, 2023, Wyre decided to wind down its business operations, citing difficult market conditions. RockWallet acquired the Wyre customer base to support those looking for a wallet alternative.

RockWallet is a self-custodial wallet that allows Customers to send, store, receive, buy, swap, or sell digital assets. However, RockWallet does not provide payments infrastructure for companies interested in integrating a crypto onramp like Wyre did.
