I’ve forgotten my Recovery Phrase - how do I restore it?

Your Recovery Phrase can’t be restored, but you may still be able to view it if you have wallet access.

Unfortunately, there is no way to restore or reset your Recovery Phrase. It’s a unique set of 12 words created when you first set up your RockWallet, and it’s the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access.

If you still have access to your RockWallet:

You can view your Recovery Phrase again by following these steps:

  1. Open the RockWallet app.

  2. Navigate to the Profile or Menu screen.

  3. Tap Security Settings.

  4. Select Recovery Phrase and follow the on-screen prompts.

Write down your Recovery Phrase using pen and paper, and store it safely offline, never digitally.

⚠️ If you can’t access your wallet:

If you lose or forget your Recovery Phrase and can no longer access your wallet, your wallet and all digital assets within it will become permanently inaccessible.

Because RockWallet is self-custodial, only you have access to your Recovery Phrase. RockWallet cannot restore, unlock, or recover your wallet or funds.

💡 Tip: Think of your Recovery Phrase as the key to your home — without it, no one, not even RockWallet, can get inside.
