How do I use my Recovery Phrase?

Your 12-word Recovery Phrase is the key to restoring access to your RockWallet.

Your Recovery Phrase = Your Wallet.


It’s directly tied to your assets and acts as the only way to restore your RockWallet if you ever delete the app, change devices, or forget your PIN.

To regain access:

  1. Open the RockWallet app.

  2. Tap Restore Wallet on the home screen.

  3. Enter all 12 words of your Recovery Phrase in the exact order they were given.

  4. Once verified, your RockWallet will be restored, and your assets will automatically reappear - no transfers required.

⚠️ Important:
If even one word is entered incorrectly, the login attempt will fail. You must enter the phrase exactly as it was originally displayed.


If you lose or forget your Recovery Phrase, your wallet and all digital assets within it will become permanently inaccessible.

Because RockWallet is self-custodial, only you have access to your Recovery Phrase - RockWallet cannot unlock, restore, or recover your funds.
