How do I set-up 2FA for my RockWallet?
Add an extra layer of security to protect your account.
Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps keep your RockWallet account secure by requiring a verification code each time you log in or confirm sensitive actions.
Steps to enable 2FA in RockWallet:
-
Open the RockWallet app.
-
Go to the Menu tab.
-
Select Security Settings.
-
Tap Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
-
Choose your preferred authentication method:
-
Authenticator App (recommended): Scan the QR code with an app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
-
Email: Receive a code via email.
-
- Enter your PIN to confirm the second 2FA method selected.
- Enter the code sent via the second 2FA method selected.
- Select “Two Factor Authentication settings”
- Enable 2FA for Sending funds.
- Enable 2FA for Selling funds.
Once enabled, you’ll be prompted to enter your 2FA code each time you log in or make security-sensitive changes.
💡 Tip: Save your 2FA backup codes in a safe place. If you lose access to your device or authenticator app, these codes will help you recover access to your RockWallet account.
