How do I use my RockWallet recovery phrase in another wallet?

Access your RockWallet funds from another self-custodial wallet safely and securely.

Because RockWallet is a self-custodial wallet, you fully control your 12-word Recovery Phrase, meaning you can access your funds from any other compatible wallet that supports the same derivation path.

When you restore your wallet using your RockWallet Recovery Phrase, your funds will automatically appear on the blockchain -  no transfer or transaction is needed.

To restore your RockWallet in another wallet app:

  1. Open the new self-custodial wallet app.

  2. Choose “Restore,” “Import,” or “Recover Wallet” (depending on the app).

  3. Enter your 12-word RockWallet Recovery Phrase exactly as it appears in the correct order.

  4. Once restored, your assets will automatically appear in the new wallet.

💡 Note: The new wallet must use the same derivation path as RockWallet.

Only assets that match RockWallet’s derivation path will display correctly. Learn more about derivation paths.

⚠️ Important Security Reminders

  • Never share your Recovery Phrase with anyone.

  • Only import it into trusted, verified self-custodial wallets from official app stores.

  • RockWallet will never ask for your Recovery Phrase or private keys.

  • If you’re unsure whether another wallet is compatible, contact that wallet’s support team before entering your phrase.
