# How do I delete my RockWallet Account?
## Follow these steps to permanently delete your RockWallet account.
We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand that circumstances change.
Before deleting your account, we encourage you to reach out to our team at **[support@rockwallet.com.](mailto:support@rockwallet.com)** We're happy to address any questions or concerns first.
If you still want to delete your account, here’s how to delete your account directly in the RockWallet app:
#### **Steps to delete your RockWallet account:**
1. From the Assets page, tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner.
2. Select Security Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account (highlighted in red).
4. Review the confirmation message carefully and check the box next to:
*“I understand that the only way to recover my wallet is by entering my Recovery Phrase.”*
5. Tap the Confirm button (it will turn green once the box is checked).
6. Enter your 12-word recovery phrase when prompted.
Once completed, your RockWallet account will be permanently deleted.
> ⚠️ Important: Deleting your account does not remove your funds from the blockchain.
>
> Your crypto remains accessible only through your recovery phrase. RockWallet cannot restore deleted accounts or recover lost recovery phrases.
