How do I buy digital assets with my debit or credit card?

Learn how to purchase crypto securely in RockWallet using your Visa or MasterCard.

You can buy digital assets directly in your RockWallet app using a Visa or MasterCard debit/credit card that supports 3D Secure.

3D Secure is an extra layer of protection used by many banks to verify your identity. Depending on your bank, you may be asked to confirm the transaction using a text message, password, or security question.

If you’re unsure whether your card supports 3D Secure, you can try completing a small ‘Buy’ transaction in your RockWallet app or contact your bank for more details.

Steps to buy crypto with your debit or credit card:

  1. Open RockWallet and select ‘Buy’ from the Home or Asset screen.

  2. Verify your account (if you haven’t already).

  3. Tap ‘Select a payment method’ and choose ‘Add payment method’.

  4. Select the digital asset you’d like to buy.

  5. Enter the amount you wish to purchase.

  6. Review your order and tap ‘Confirm’.

  7. Enter your RockWallet PIN to authorize the transaction.

  8. You’ll be redirected to your bank’s 3D Secure page to enter a confirmation code or password (this step varies by bank).

  9. Once verified, your purchase will be confirmed and added to your wallet.
