Can I send funds to a legacy BCH address?

Yes — RockWallet automatically converts legacy BCH addresses for you.

You can send Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to a legacy address using RockWallet. When you enter a legacy BCH address, RockWallet will automatically convert it to the CashAddr format before sending, ensuring your funds are delivered safely to the correct destination.

Here’s how to send BCH to a legacy address:

  1. From the Home screen, select BCH.

  2. Tap Send.

  3. In the To field, enter the BCH address you want to send funds to.

  4. If the address is in the legacy format, you’ll be prompted to confirm that it can be converted to CashAddr format.

  5. Choose your preferred processing speed.

  6. Review your transaction details, then tap Confirm to complete the send.

💡 Note: Always double-check that the address is correct before confirming. Once a BCH transaction is sent, it cannot be reversed.
