Are there any limitations on selling digital assets?
Yes. To use the Sell feature, your account must be fully verified.
Once your account is verified:
-
The minimum amount for a Sell transaction is $30 USD.
-
The maximum limit is $5,000 USD per week and $10,000 USD per month for ACH transactions (available in supported U.S. states only).
If you are selling ERC-20 tokens (for example, USDC, USDT, BAT, or other tokens on the Ethereum network), you will also need to have enough ETH in your wallet to cover the required network gas fees.
These fees cannot be taken out of your token balance and must be paid separately in ETH. This is a rule of the Ethereum network not set by RockWallet.
Do other networks also require fees when sending assets?
Yes. Other networks, such as Bitcoin (BTC), also require network fees (sometimes called miner fees) to process transactions. These fees are paid by the sender and must be available in the sender’s account in the same asset being sent.
For example, if you're sending BTC, the fee is paid in BTC. If there isn’t enough of the asset to cover the fee, the transaction won’t be processed.
We recommend keeping a small extra balance of each asset in your wallet to make sure you can always cover any required network fees and avoid delays.
