Which assets in RockWallet require ETH for network fees?

Understand which ERC-20 tokens need Ethereum (ETH) to cover gas costs.

Some digital assets in RockWallet are ERC-20 tokens, meaning they run on the Ethereum blockchain.


To send, swap, or sell these tokens, you’ll need a small amount of ETH in your wallet to cover gas fees, the transaction costs are set by and paid to the Ethereum network (not to RockWallet).

The ERC-20 tokens RockWallet supports that require ETH for network fees include:

  • USD Coin (USDC)

  • Tether (USDT)

  • Basic Attention Token (BAT)

  • Chainlink (LINK)

  • Loopring (LRC)

  • 0x (ZRX)

  • MNEE - ERC-20 version (Only available in the U.S)

  • Pepe (PEPE)

  • Worldcoin (WLD)
