Why is my RockWallet disabled?

Your wallet may be temporarily locked for your security.

If you enter an incorrect PIN too many times, your RockWallet will automatically become disabled for a short period of time. This security measure protects your wallet from unauthorized access attempts by preventing repeated PIN guesses.

What to do if your RockWallet is disabled:

  • Wait until the timer displayed in your app expires. Once it does, you’ll be able to try entering your PIN again.

  • Each time the wrong PIN is entered after the wallet re-enables, the waiting period increases before you can try again.

  • After multiple failed attempts, you may be required to restore your wallet using your 12-word recovery phrase.

⚠️ Important reminders:

  • If you’ve lost or forgotten your recovery phrase, your wallet and the digital assets within it cannot be recovered.

  • Because RockWallet is self-custodial, only you have access to your recovery phrase, RockWallet cannot unlock your wallet, reset your PIN, or retrieve your assets.

  • If you still have your recovery phrase, you can reset your PIN by selecting “Reset PIN” on the lock screen and entering your 12-word phrase.

💡 Tip: Always keep your recovery phrase stored securely offline. It’s the only way to regain access to your wallet if it becomes disabled or if you forget your PIN.
